"How to connect to the server while the global server is down"
Right click on the freelancer shortcut and select preferences.
Now select the shortcut bar and put this in the target bar:
"C:\Program Files\Microsoft Games\Freelancer\EXE\Freelancer.exe" -80.56.159.183:2302
If you have installed Freelancer to a different location just add '-80.56.159.183:2302 ' to the end of the target bar, withouth the ' '.
From now on if you doubleclick on the freelancer shortcut, the server will show up in the 'Internet' & 'LAN' games. Now choose LAN.
