Level Pack - "Wolfenstein 3D The Way ID Did"
Singleplayer MapLevel pack for Wolf3D HD; requires the main Wolf3D HD pk3, Wolf3D 1.4 and the latest version of LZWolf.
This is a HQ remix of Wolf3D for LZWolf, utilizing features such
as light levels, scaling, halo lights and a few other tricks along with
the 128x rotational sprites from ZDoom Forums to give a slightly updated
experience. It uses varying xlats to achieve different effects for different levels, and as an added bonus includes the Second Encounter mapset as a 7th episode.

Every time I drag this pk3 over LZWolf it opens up the command menu to tell me an error has occurred. What do I do to get this to actually run?
I really want that middle ground between Steam Wolf and Brutal Wolf
Hi folks - I hope anyone can help me getting these mods (and others) started in LZWolf under Windows 10.
1.) I have installed LZWolf (version 1.3.99999) on my PC by unpacking respective ZIP file content into a separate directory.
2.) I have copied all original Wolfenstein 3D and SOD files (version 1.4) from an old MS-DOS backup into the above LZWolf directory (*.WL6, *.SOD, *.SD1, *.SD2, *.SD3)
3.) When trying to launch "Wolfenstein 3D HD" (WOLF3D_HD.pk3) by pulling this pk3 file onto the LZWolf.EXE file I am receiving an error message and the game doesn't start.
4.) I'm getting identical error messages when trying to start other Wolf3D mods (that should be compatible with either LZ or ECWolf) as well.
When double-clicking 'lzwolf.exe' I can only launch the "normal" Wolfenstein 3D, Spear of Destiny, SOD-Return to Danger and SOD-Ultimate Challenge games.
How can I start modern Wolf3D and SOD mods (preferably with much better graphics with LZWolf?
Thanks for your help.
I am having this same issue!
Hi,
It's possible to run this mod on linux? Only Wolf4SDL is for linux. LZWolf is windows only.
You can use lzwolf on Linux but you must compile it yourself. There is a tutorial for compiling ecwolf on Linux, just follow the directions and replace the repositories with lzwolf’s bitbucket url.

absolutely the best way to play wolfenstein 3d, really brings the atmosphere into the levels like some awesome doom hybrid without straying as far from the original gamefeel as other projects tend to. I've stumbled across a consistent audio error and I'm wondering if it's my installation or a deliberate design choice, where the doors have lost their unique closing sound, and also seem to not change in volume over distance like in the original game. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks for the top tier great work.
can you play this as a standalone Mod, or do you need that LZWolf source port thing to run this on?
many thanks
Yes, lzwolf is required, along with the full version of Wolf3D.
