Kilrathi Fleet image - WING: Commander - Invasion mod for Star Wars: Empire at War: Forces of Corruption
Those amongst you may remember a Star Trek Armada 1 mod that was made many years that went unfinished (it was aprox. 75% completed). Well with a new game and game engine to mod comes a bigger and, hopefully, more complete version. WCI is now being slowly compiled for the Star Wars Empire at War expansion and is going to be solely a space based conversion. We are recreating a majority of the stock WC models to better fit the needs of the game engine and there is going to be significant usage of the capital ship fighter launch capabilities. There is going to be extensive changes to as much of the game as possible and news updates will be posted here, so stand by...... and stay tuned.

Although most of the hardpoints are disabled I thought it high time to post a couple of images showing the kilrathi ships in game. Obviously they are not to scale and I remember reading that the dreadnought had a one of version of it made which was huge. With this in mind there will be two versions. One will be the larger of the two, whcih will act as both a hero and single buildable ship class. The other will be limited to maybe 3 of the class but will be smaller and less powerful than the hero version.
Ships are: From left to right (rear pair) Bhantkara, Ralaxath, (front row) Kavor, Zhufeng, Dreadnought, Ralarrad, Fralthi II Carrier, Fralthi II Cruiser.
(Kavor original concept/design done by Lars with modification by Scooby Doo (previewed on Hard-Light.net forum), ZhuFeng original concept/design by Feng Zhu (from original artwork with additional changes by me), all other models based on images from WCNEWS.COM and rebuilds of original stock game models).
is there any idea of a releasedate?
No release date will be given untill MaP feels the mod is finished and ready to be released.
