"Warring States Hegemony" is a Chinese mod based on the Medieval 2 Total War engine. The mod is a creation by the Fengyun Production Team and focuses on the hegemony of the seven states during the Warring States period. This is a carefully crafted historical mod with the background of the various countries' reforms in the early Warring States period. During the Warring States period, the power of the Zhou royal family was weakening, and the various nobles competed for supremacy, specifically the Qi, Chu, Yan, Han, Zhao, Wei, and Qin states. At the same time, the declining Song, Lu, Wey, and Yue states were also looking for ways to arrest their decline. Around the Central Plains, the surrounding barbarians such as the Donghu, Xiongnu, Yiqu, Yueshi, Ba, Shu, Dian, and Yangyue were restless. Who will be the ruler of ancient China? Who can unify the world and last for thousands of years? Players who like Warring States themes should not miss it.

I finally worked out how to make it work! this crash can be fixed by replacing the mingdaoshi file required for most chinese mods:

look up: Republic of China 1924: V 1.0: English Edition!
Medieval II: Total War: Kingdoms mod | Released 2019

(this comments do not allow links)

Once unzipped per my posts before, and after replacing this file all should work.
This is an awesome mod: the old Rome BI version was so grossly unbalanced it was next to impossible to fight the Qin marauding elite stacks playing as a smaller faction. This MTW version is a lot more balanced.

Hope this helps all - enjoy fellow gamers.

Help, I have successfully downloaded and merged parts 1 and 2. But upon checking the contents, it's missing the Kingdoms.exe and medieval2.exe files in the folder. I thought it was a full game. Do I have to download or get Medieval II separately?

I downloaded everything according to the instructions, but when I open the file it gives an error:
Cannot open the file as [7z] archive
Unexpected end of data

Can you re-upload the files?
