Description
-------------------

REDONE KHAJIIT TEXTURES

This is a complete race pack which includes:


- male and female face, ears, body textures

- eyes textures

- alternative female smaller hands for which I have created nails

- textures for custom nails


Version 2 includes in addition:


- new head mesh (animations, expressions, eyes movements and blink, everything works)

- upper teeth, lower teeth, mouth and tongue for the custom head

- corrected face textures


My custom head is a low poly mesh, like the ones in OCO.

In case you use a female body which requires classic hands or if you use Geechan's smaller hands but don't want to use my hands with nails included, just download the archive: "VKVII Oblivion Skin Khajiit - No New Hands".

This pack contains, other than the listed files, also the .esp to point the game to pick these meshes and textures, plus obviously the face base parameters to make truly use of this head shape as face, otherwise the game would assign the vanilla parameters created for the vanilla head.

These textures are based and inspired by the vanilla race and the Khajiit Cheshirk's face. My goal was to stay similar to the original, so I worked on this keeping the original in mind.

This Khajiit head can be suitable for both players who want a better head than the vanilla one and those who don't want something completely different from the classic race.

Notes
-------------------

The female textures are compatible with any HGCE body and all derivatives bodies which use the same UV maps (like ZKEC etc.)

About the male version, this is made for Roberts bodies.

If you run OCO or any other mod changing the Khajiit race, put the plugin (VKVII Skin_Khajiit.esp) after all of them.

Notes about Meshes
-------------------

The smaller hands in this pack is the Geechan's mesh for which I have modified fingertips, fixed non-manifold vertex, corrected UV and created custom nails, the seams are mended too.

If you use a body which requires classic hands (or smaller hands but don't want the nails annexed), be sure to download the archive named: "VKVII Oblivion Skin Khajiit - No New Hands".

I did included the ears mesh because male is separated from female and .egt files matching.

FAQ
-------------------

- Is this going to conflict with OCO?

No, I made it compatible. It will change the Khajiit as intended and no other race will change.


- Any chance there are wrong files in the archive because my Khajiits are all fucked up?

Be sure to have Blockhead installed, it's a requirement.

Be sure to put the VKVII Skin_Khajiit.esp after OCO plugin or any other mods plugins that change races.

Install
-------------------

Extract the archives and put the content in your Data folder.

Overwrite if asked.

In the load order put the plugin "VKVII Skin_ Argonian.esp" after OCO plugin or any other that change races.


To uninstall: delete the files from the archive from your folders.


Or use WyreBash to install/uninstall, this pack is BAIN-Compatible.

Install this mod after OCO or any other mods that change races.

So when Im using this mod the textures are broken when wearing clothes but when naked it looks fine.

Activate the .esp and make sure it's below any other mod changing races.

Those clothes include body parts and the .esp tells the game where to look for the correct body textures for that race, otherwise the game will load textures form other folders.

Very impressive. When I come back to Oblivion I will definitely use this. In my opinion this is one of the best Khajiit retextures because its close to vanilla, doesn't look cartoon-like, and appears mostly seamless (just a little noticeable seam around the neck).

Thank you! It was challenging because the beast races have defined patterns unlike the human races, so you can't get away with seams mistakes so easily, in fact I had to work on them over and over. I hope you'll come back to Cyrodiil soon or later!
