For the first time in Rome Total War modding history the strategy lover can immerself himself into the Age of Vikings, where the most distant Viking raids can happen, from the British Isles to the warm waters of the Mediterranean and the vast plains of Russia. From the frozen seas of the North to the dazzling Islamic Empires of the South, the centuries old Byzantine Empire in the East, the Vikings can carry their ferocious raids everywhere. Furthermore, other powers are around such as the menacing Magyars, the rich Umayyads of Al-Andalus, the fragmented, but still capable Abbasids, the tenacious Asturians, the mysterious Khazars, the emerging Slavic Chiefdoms, the upcoming Bulgarians and the heirs of Charlemagne.
