Downloadin' and playin' now!
One bug i found so far.
Can't open one of the garage door of my house, otherwise, game crashs.
Yeah, we know that problem. Sometimes, but not very often game crashes when you try to open one of your garages, but we didn't find a complete, 100% solution for that so far.
We can't say what it depends on - maybe it's a save's fault. We'll try to fix it, but till we do it, the only way is to try again.
Alright, thanks Piece!
The game looks freakin' fantastic now, huge thanks for your hard work!
System requirements are listed on our main ModDB page, at the bottom of big promotional graphic. They are:
Any dual core processor, 1-2 GB RAM, video card with 128-512 MB and ~2.8 GB free space on your hard drive. Thereotacally, mod should run on anything that handles original GTA Vice City (with or without lags).
You don't need to install anything else than GTA Vice City to play Vice Cry.
This was me btw :) Wasn´t logged in :)
I can't even run the installation. If i do normally, nothing happens,if i do as an administrator, the current window get frozen, and nothing happens. Can someone help me ?
Maybe the exe file is somehow corrupted? Have you tried to download it again maybe?
And please, tell us what operating system do you use?
Thanks for all! You are great moddellers ;)
No, unless there is a Chinese translation for original GTA Vice City. However, if you install the translation that doesn't base on latin alphabet, you automatically replace all the HD fonts that are included in Vice Cry 1.8 - just saying.
I'm sorry, but I have no idea if there's an official, or even unofficial Chinese translation for VC. But if it exist, it should work with Vice Cry without problems.
When I try to install the mod, I get this message:
"Cannot open the file for writing at:
C:\Program Files (x86)\Rockstar Games\Grand Theft Auto Vice City\gta-vc.exe
Press 'Abort' to quit installation,
'Retry' to try again or
'Ignore' to ignore this file."
I am trying to install this on the retail version (did not buy on Steam) and I am using Windows 7 64 bit. Does anyone know what I should do?
íntall inside the folder of vice city or just somewhere else ?
sorry for bad english =.=
I have no problems with downloading, at all. Maybe try again later, and if this doesn't help, clear your cookies and/or try downloading the file with another browser.
Can i Get an Torret Link Please From You Guys. I Don't Want to Download Like This I need a Torret. Coz My Download Stucks in The Middle if i downloaded in The Net Tabs Please I need Help. D:
That might be a problem. I have really little spare time nowadays - I'm really busy and I turn on my PC only when I have to do something on it.
To actually make torrent work, I'd have to seed files 24/7, basically, because there are different time zones, some people prefer to play at night, etc. You name it.
It'd be not wise to allow you to download Vice Cry via torrent client and then be busy for entire week and not being able to send it to you.
Sorry I couldn't help.
How to install it? I have downloaded it but it isn't opening. Plzzzz
Hey piece it is opening and working perfectly but one thing. It has no audio and no tracks.
Hey piece, I want to install mods like bmw cars, aston martin, etc but I am not able to delete or replace the dff and td files plzzz help. T_T
Vice Cry doesn't change ANY sounds in the game. All is still original, made by Rockstar Games. You're sure you've installed Vice Cry on a fully working, legal copy of Vice City?
The second thing - vehicles. Because Vice City has its limits, we've got to split gta3.img archive into few smaller ones. All the vehicles are now in a separate archive. If you want to replace any vehicle, you have to do it manually, because any sort of mod installers, etc. will not work.
On the other hand, if you install vehicles you want and then, suddenly reinstall the game, you can simply backup the archive, which is going to be a lot smaller than original gta3.img - in the other words, you don't waste more space that's necessary.
Yeah sure thanks and yes it is not a legal copy.
Do you need to mess with the launch settings if you've got Steam? If yes, then please tell me what I need to type in.
