"Varion" is a mod in the future with hi-tech weapons and fun, creative maps and gameplay elements. We want to bring back classic dm games with a new intresting look and features to it.

Description
Finally Varion 0.5 has been released to the public. Hope you enjoy the mod please report any bugs if you find any.
Varion Demo is a way of just showing you the mod so far.
You will need a source game such as (hl2, css etc) also you will need sdk base installed.
The Mod Features:
- 3 Soundtracks
- 5 Weapons
- 1 Playermodel
- Team Dm
- Dm
How to install:
Download the file then unzip it and put the folder in steam/steamapps/sourcemods folder. Then restart steam and you will be able to play the mod.
Bugs:
Animations arn't working currently.
Servers don't work.
Many other issues.
We are sorry that this release doesn't have working servers as they don't seem to work for some reason. Please download Varion 1.0 when it is release for the full release of varion which will have 100x more content then this.

Do I need Orange box source sdk in order for this mod to work ?

This mod runs on epi 1 so all you need is hl2 and sdk base.
oh, I won't be able to run this mod then cause I only have hl2 , If I try to download the sdk base, it would take more than 2 hours on my net connection.
No servers gay anims bad textures no ragdolls etc. work on stuff before you can call it a beta. No offence
Maybe public alpha would be more appropriate? Anyway, they just wanted to release before Christmas, I believe they're gonna improve a lot.
Yah we currently wanted to release for xmas just to see what public think this is very early beta anyway 0.5 not a full version yet we just wanted to see what people think of the mod so far. Betas are made to test stuff not final versions.
