Guard Spearmen - the citizen of Tyrosh, if they want can serve in Guard Spearmen, guard spearmen role in Tyrosh army is to protect flanx and back of the phalanx from cavalry on battlefield, Guard Spearmens are proffesional soldiers, city is paying for they equipment and training.
Mounted Spearman - the Guard Spearman's when it's needed, can use horses in battle, they are not as proffesional horsemans like Lancers in armies of other Free Cities, but they are good enouth to protect flanx and back of the phalanx.
