Maybe the box-shaped hull and large threads but not really.
It looks like a mix of Tiger, Panther and Panzer IV :)
Uh Tiger dont have this type of turret they look like more he Pz38(t) or he Tiger II
I always thought the Edelweiss looked more like a cross between a Tiger II and an ARL 44

I think it is a beginning of the Edelweiss tank.even if some things are not correct:
the turret is too high, the edelweiss to a turret rather flat and wide.
the tank is not large enough, edelweiss is large compared to other tanks
