UT2D for UT3 is a mod that turns Unreal Tournament into a 2D shooter. Basically, instead of looking out the player's eyes, you're looking at the side of the player while he runs left or right. Think like Mario, but UT3. Aside from all that, this is basically UT3. Most of the gametypes and weapons are all there. Have a fun frag fest!

There were some huge bugs in 1.1 I could fix easily, so here's 1.2. Please download it and have fun!

Unreal Tournament 2D 1.2 for the PC and PS3 is out! I know 1.1 was released only a few days ago, but there were some bugs I could not ignore. Here's a list of what's been done

Changes:

  • Added UT2DArmorPickup_ShieldBelt (I never realized it had a drop; the other armors don't).
  • Fixed weapons not dropping.
  • Fixed CTF HUD navigation arrows pointing to flag.
  • Changed name and description of UT2D-RisingSun2D to UT2D-RisingSun11 per author's request.

Please tell me if it works and is fun or not. I plan to enter it into Make Something Unreal, but I want to make sure it's bug-free first.
