You are a bounty hunter sent to Na Pali by Inuit corporation to find the crashed ship, Vortex Rikers and termine surviving prisoners and recapture three rogue AIs that were on board and then get to gravity lift taking you to planet moon where you will call for dropship to pick you up. This is a rework of a cancelled Playstation port of Unreal by Pterodactyl Software Ltd, which had all exclusive content. About 75 percent of content was recovered. This project wants to achieve finishing up of the content, retexturing the maps, making them 100 percent coop playable, fixing scripts, finishing them up and filling up holes of not salvaged content.

JackHonda has uploaded new screenshots for the project that were long overdue. I might be back in business now but things are real slow. I have been really bad off and not having stable roof above my head.

I am posting some screenshots separately here too. Expect things to be moving forwards release soon. Episode 2 B and separate Episode 2 Full release for completion sake.

Just came across this mod (as was mentioned in moddb's monthly mod madness) and was reading through the updates from 2011 to now in 2022. What a ride you guys have had.

So what is the state of things?

So reading your updates, there is episodes:
1.
2.
3.
4.

Episodes 1, 3 and 4 sound like their done is that right? With the most issues being around episode 2. Are all the intended enemies and new weapons in the game now? New music? Scripting of events etc etc?

I'm a huge fan of Unreal 1. Quite enjoyed the Operation Na Pali mod, so always up for more Unreal 1 content if it's decent.

No, there's episode 0, 1, 2 and 3.

Episode 3 was mostly finished in the recovered material already. Episode 2 had a few gaps, like e2l4 and e2l8 weren't finalized. Now, a lot of work has been done by jackhonda to rework the areas to keep them up to date, as some of them were very barebones. The plain retextured maps will also be released for a comparison later. If I was avaiable all the time this would have been way released but most likely not as looking good, as I would have had the maps be more like their vanilla counterparts. Several of the new levels/areas made have been redesigned multiple times since so that didn't help. But I believe it was for the best due to the level flow and keeping up more with the original ideas. JRath had also a lot of work done, being essentially non existant in the original. We already threw out/replaced a lot of sounds, some of the new sounds were done by yrex.

Episode 0 was the "coverdemo" thing btw that had to be nearly remade from scratch. 1, 2 and 3 were regular game episodes. While Episode 1 was arguably the most unfinished map-wise episode 2 had a lot of missing/unfinished parts, mostly related to the main features not being done yet ingame outside of cutscene material/models that were not recovered anyway. There was never episode 4.

I do plan one day on continuing the story though but it will be a fan thing entirely, and it won't be called episode 4 as it will also feature characters from other packs. And it won't have anything to do with JRath anymore either.
