Q: Where are all the spoilers?

A: In the sub-forum called Underlord Spoilers.

Q: Why doesn't my Mythic Formula take my item?

A: Mythic Formulas only take the highest-quality ingredients. They take two legendary items and one UberRare item--either a monster infrequent (a very rare, green, monster drop) or one randomized unique jewelry (rare unique items that spawn with affixes). The item must have two affixes and the prefix must be rare. This will likely be the hardest to acquire. Also, monster infrequents and randomized jewelry don't reveal their affixes in game like other items, so the only way to know if your item is good enough is to see if the formula will take it, or check in TQ Vault. If you are farming for the item, just carry the formula on your hero; when the item drops, you can just hover over the formula to see if it qualifies. There is a mod for Underlord 1.3 that lowers the requirements to only double-affixed items (incorporated into Underlord 1.5).

Q: My Mythic Formula calls for "scrolls" I've never heard of before. Where can I find them?

A: When a Mythic Formula calls for a "scroll" it's actually calling for a piece of jewelry. It's a display bug with the Mythic Formulas.

Q: What exactly does this mod change?

A: Everything. I mean, too much to list in a FAQ. There is no single source of info about all that's been changed. I should probably start a wiki for this. :/

Q: Can I play Underlord with my existing characters?

A: Negative. If you load one of your old characters into Underlord, they will lose all their invested skill points, and likely have other quest-related issues. If this has happened to you, and you don't have a backup of the character, and haven't progressed in the game, you can restore the lost skill points using the Defiler.

Q: What are vitality staffs?

A: These are staffs that shoot projectiles of vitality damage instead of elemental damage. They offer greater mana regeneration and deal more damage than comparable elemental staffs, but they drain life from the wielder, and are ineffective against non-living enemies. These staffs are not sold by regular vendors, but can be collected from certain monsters in the game.

Q: What is "penetration"?

A: Penetration improves your weapon piercing. Many weapons have a base pierce ratio, which is the percentage of their damage that is treated as pierce damage (ignores armor). Items or skills that increase penetration will improve that pierce ratio. Note: this increase is to the base weapon piercing; if you have a sword that has 10% piercing, and you activate a skill that gives you +50% penetration, your weapon piercing will go to 15%, not 60%.

Q: Where's the splash damage on Ternion Attack?

A: Short = "It was brokenpants." Long = words n stuff.

Q: My summoned skeletons don't last as long as my summoned wolves. Is this intentional?

A: Yes. Note: the wolves have a 26-second cooldown, while the skeletons have only a 6-second cooldown. Skeletons are disposable fodder that you should keep flowing into the battle.

Q: Why did you change the name of the mod from "Occult" to "Underlord?"

A: Because if I was ever going to defeat the Overlord, I'd need the demonic assistance of the Underlord, and the Underlord demands tribute!

Q: I have a really brilliant awesome amazing idea for a skill/mastery, will you make it for me/add it to Underlord?

A: Negatory, and yes, I know it's better/smarter/geniuser than every other idea in existence, but I'm still not going to do it.

Q: Why do the weapons Yerkyerk carries look inside out?

A: Yerkyerk's from Holland, and that's how they hold them.

Q: Is there a customer service department for me to send my complaints and demands to?

A: Yes there is, but it's for customers only, not freeloaders.

Q: Where's the rest of this F.A.Q.?

A: Shut up.
