Underhive is a stand-alone game using the Torque (Tribes2) engine. It takes place in Earth's far distant future. Mankind has continued to be a plague on the world, depleting it of it's natural resources. In the manner of such a disposable society, structures are simply abandoned and new structures are built upon the old. These interlocking buildings are like the cells of a honeycomb, thus earning the massive superstructure the nickname of "hive". Civil liberties have been trampled upon and the general public lives in fear. Some of the more rebellious types have chosen to form their own societies amidst the ruins of the hive.
