You are James Green, loyal member of the elite group Dragon's Knight since the age of 17. The group is one step on the ladder before the Special Ops. It is your dream to receive training from them. You get an opportunity you just cannot pass up, so you begin on a lone operation in which you must investigate the Black Mesa facility, undercover as an assignment from Spec Ops. If you manage to collect enough data, you would receive training by winter 1999. Episode 1: The following takes place at July the 14th, 1999, 5 days back before the events that will cripple Black Mesa (Dr. Freeman's arrival at the facility, the false specimen experiment, and the alien "invasion"). After a long day on a small break before work, Barney stumbles in explaining that there has been a toxic spillage where you are posted at, and that you must not leave the area. You boldly decide that you are brave enough to clean up the mess by yourself, and are required to take some firearms with you....

I don't know about this MOD...it just isn't right. HALF-LIFE 2 is da game, NOT HALF-LIFE 1 anymore. If I still keep trying to make up a team, a map, a story, then...see and, nobody's behind, nobody cares. It would be exactly like that, right? That's what comments are for; post to

I DO want to develop something cool, something unique & stunning. But my computer....550Mhz AMD K6 processor wouldn't allow me to. I'm growing impatient to kick school in the guts this faraway summer and go work for real, for money, and finally for a decent computer.

What do you think? Should this MOD be halted and, whenever I have HL2 possibilities, project port to HL2? Should the MOD progress be delayed, should the MOD be developed for Half-Life 2?

Any comments/answers would be greatly appreciated.

if this is your attitude, then just quit - the mod wont make it

if you're worried about system specs, go standalone on quake

Thanks, it's quite right... oh well, just read the next news. It doesn't matter anymore, in some time I'll be developing a kickass HL2 MOD anyway! :)
