God Complex is a gameplay mod. At its core it's a power fantasy driven looter shooter with a progression system that will have you fighting stronger bosses as you level up and improve your arsenal of weapons and items! Play enough and you'll become a God! But... You are not the only God-like being in this universe... Fight for supremacy and become a God among Gods!
If I missed anything in the credits, let me know and I will update them. This whole thing has been a massive brain F between all the guides, components of the mod, bugs, making videos, stress, etc... I revisited the credits doc inside the mod a number of times but I'm sure I missed a lot.

Slaughter version starts you with an extra item, is a bit easier in general, is intended for wads with lots of monsters.

so many instant kills. legendary enemies for sure should be a threat but going from 300 HP and 130 Armor to dead in a single hit? i just don't find it fun personally but respect the hard work that went into this project

God Complex is a power fantasy mod that brings the pain with an arsenal of tough-as-nails modded monsters and weapons which make the demons just as scary as the slayer.
I never expected for the God Complex to finally appear for the Gzdoom engine, I was quite sad when I heard it was just for Zandronum, very happy that you guys went to the effort, honestly thanks.
Note:
for some weird reason the explosive super shotgun appears in slot 1 and 3, it gives priority to slot 1 and if you find it a second time it will also appear in slot 3.
Also when you use the Flame Sword, you cannot throw frag grenades, I say this because all the other melee weapons you can besides chainsaw and lightsaber since they are two handed

Should I play this in Zandronum or GZDoom? Does it matter if I'm only playing singleplayer?
If you're only playing single-player, I would recommend the GZDoom engine version.
