Ultimate Empire at War is a conversion of Star Wars: Empire at War: Forces of Corruption. It aims to include four eras of Star Wars history: the Age of the Old Republic, the Clone Wars, the Galactic Civil War, and the Dawn of the New Republic in an re-created game that is more engaging on both the tactical and strategic level, enhancing gameplay and deepening it, as well as overhauling the graphics in the game. In short - EaW the way it was meant to be - spanning Star Wars history in a deeply strategic game with high quality graphics and challenging gameplay.

Report RSS Unit Profile: Munificent-Class Star Frigate

A treat for you all - a unit profile of one of my personal favourite starships in Ultimate Empire at War - the Munificent-Class Star Frigate.

Good morning all, it's LTCC and (cue Austin Powers moment, despite the fact I'm far more on the Obi-Wan-esque, conservative side of British accents) I'm back baby, yeah. This is apparently 'Groovy'. Yes, I digress, I shall stick to my old ways of verbose writing.

Anyway, I've got a treat for you all, and an especially yummy one at that. And no, it's not a cookie (for once), but a unit profile of one of my personal favourite starships in Ultimate Empire at War - the Munificent-Class Star Frigate. If you're having trouble reading, you may find a copy of this 'Republic Intelligence' file in full resolution here - it's naturally scaled to fit the Moddb news box, you see.

This is something of a 'sneak peak' as to what I expect the UEaW manual will look like. When I write it. Don't get your hopes up, that comes AFTER we've made the game. This should provide you some insight as to the role and performance of the Munificent in-game though. I would add that all the graphics shown here are drawn directly from UEaW and have not been photoshopped other than to cut them out of screenshots.

Some versions of the Munificent almost look "bent" like they got stepped on don't see any of that with this one looks AWEsome and the info is neat - a whole manual like that would almost be publishable as a book - I like :)

I love your writing style, feels like some experience went into discovering the munificents strong and weak points :D

I love how you made the reader feel part of the Republic in a mission briefing room. At the very end of the document, I can just see someone say, "Dismissed." Simply superb!

Awesome unit preview. And since this is one of my favorite ships in the star wars universe I liked it extra much!
This is among the 3 best Munificents model I've seen and from what I just read I'm guessing it's real badass aswell. =)
Awesome work guys
