Well, it seems everytime Jaguar and I compose a final list of weapons that are going into the first version, we come up with some sort of brainstorm and just HAVE to add in another new weapon. We're trying to keep these late additions somewhat simple so they don't add to much to the coding time, hence we present to you, The Wrench, and the Handgun.
The wrench obviously is you standard melee weapon, but not content with a simple melee attack, we added in a secondary throw attack, which allows you to throw that big hunk of shaped metal at some unsuspecting poor soul, hopefully knocking them out in the process.
As for the handgun, we decided that no mod is complete without a standard handgun. And so primary fire shoots with the top barrel and secondary fires both barrels at once for that extra punch.
Were also working on a short trailer to show off some of the weapons in game a bit better, a lot of the content will still be half completed, but it should give you a good feel for the kind of fast paced deathmatch action we're hoping to give you. Hopefully that should be completed within a week or so, but rest assured, you'll know when it is :)

it took jaguar a day to code it in, I'd already done all the animations and wanted desperatly to try it out, then he teased me and wouldn't let me have the code till the next day.. So i repaid him in kind by bashing him indiscriminatly with the wrench over and over when we play tested :D The throwing works really well, it does a fair amount of damage, but its also kinda slow, so don't expect to be hitting someone a hundred meters away.. well, unless youre an awesome shot, its really useful in those tight confined spaces, and also its just gonna be degrading to whoever you kill with it ;) of course once you've thrown it, you have to run and pick it up before someone else does ;)

The wrench looks great, but it'd be even better with some hi-def skinning.
