Welcome to the first news post for Tumultus: Deathmatch.
So who are we and what are we offering? Well we started off as what you might call an "open source" mod ie, anyone could help create content for it, this was meant to be a learning experience for all involved, helping our community to learn how to actually make things such as models and weapons and implement them into a mod, somewhere along the way we became structured and actually found ourselves a purpose.
so, less than 2 weeks after we started on the "official" multiplayer mod, we currently have a lot done, all of the current weapon concepts have been fully coded in and are working, all the weapons have been modelled and most have been animated, all are in game. Some still need skins, some still need the odd animation here and there, but they are ingame and work as they should. Whats that? proof? ok.

We also have a stable build that we have managed to playtest numerous times, just a few tiny bugs to iron out, annnnd lets see... oh yeah, we plan to have the first version out late october sometime. thats right, released, playable to the public. Once thats been done we'll take feed back and suggestions for new features, add them in, then release an update with all new goodies for you. We also have plans for a different mode to be added in, so it's not going to be just purely deathmatch. So, stay tuned folks, or better yet, get involved ;)

I'm loving all the positive feedback we're getting on this so far, just gives us extra drives to get something out there for you guys as soon as possible, without making it half arsed... if you get what i mean :)
