This is an unexpected but worthy update. At long last, an old dog learns a new trick. I turned dispensable Blaze into a literally useful barrier of fire so that sorceress won't suffer from the trouble of crowd control any more.

Skills

  • Explosive damage of Dragon Tail ignores fire resist of demons. However, note that the fire damage calculation is based on actual physical damage the target received from assassin's kick. Hence, if the demon is physically immune, converted fire damage is zero.
  • Blaze no longer ignores fire resist of demons. Instead, the wall of fire knocks enemies back, but this feature does not apply when the skill is cast by monsters. Now Blaze works mainly as a defense ring to stop groups of monsters from getting close, and fire damage is done only for enemies like act bosses that can not be knocked back.

Monsters

  • Slightly decreased global resistance of Lesser/Prime Evils in all difficulty levels.
  • Slightly changed resist/immunity type of Pain Worms in Act 5 Throne of Destruction.

Items

  • Changed Ohm rune effect for weapon (-60 to monster defense per hit).
