Installation Instructions 1. Install Quake2 -from your Quake2 CD by ID Software 2. Install Quake 2 3.20 patch 3. Install Quake2 Max 4. Install TFQ (only the latest version is required; found here- TFQv3d) * To run TFQ copy Quake2maX.exe (found in your Quake2 install directory) then place a shortcut to Quake2maX.exe on your desktop, by right clicking on your desktop and selecting paste. Double Click on your Quake2maX.exe file to start Quake2 with the Quake2max mod enabled. Then Start a New Single Player Game to start playing TFQ. * To run TFQ without any special Quake2max 3D enhancements copy quake2.exe (found in your Quake2 install directory) then place a shortcut to quake2.exe on your desktop, by right clicking on your desktop and selecting paste. Right Click on your new shortcut and select properties. In the Shortcut Tab configure the target line as follows ...quake2.exe" +set game TFQ +menu_main
