Toxis Residuum is a soon-to-be total conversion mod for the Half-Life 2 engine, incorporating many differn't ideas, asspects and concepts from many differn't cyberpunk tv series, films and games. All images, videos and media are all in development and are being changed/tweaked/finished off quite regularly (even if we don't show it all in updates). Any thoughts/ideas and or tips would be greatly appriciated and directed at either Crash-Headrom or Jenkins_08. -Unfortunately, due to personal reasons development of this mod has stoped for the time being. Work shall continue maybe at a later date (or when I get more staff). Till then, if anyone would like to see some of the maps worked on in this mod, please don't hesitate to contact me via PM on moddb (email is also good). Thank you for watching and I am sorry I was unable to bring you all 20 minutes into the future.

Report RSS Merry Christmas From Toxis .INC

A small and brief update for the time being. We apolagize for only leaving a small presant underneath your virtual tree.

Greetings everyone! Merry christmas and all that, hope you all get what you want. Good and bad news this update, so in true blunt style bad news first.

We have lost Jenkins dew to his ISP being fail (telstra, go figure) so he won't be online for an indefinate amount of time, so work is going to progress even slower without him. Ontop of this, Pandius the new mapper (and good one i might add) is away on holiday for christmas, so most of the updates shall be supplied by yours truley.

Good news, are these babies:
(IMAGES SHOWN BELOW WILL NOT BE FINAL PRODUCT)

Desert_Test:

This map is purly for testing a new gadget we were given, by Lambdacore (thanks bud), cudos go to valve also for first creating it. I won't say what it is as we are hoping to make a small vid with this map, stay tuned. (P.S. The area in which this is being based on, will hopefully be a very long APC/Attack Plane chase)

Capitol Building Core:

This cracker took us some time. The creator of the basic map layout (And the amazing trench in the middile) is randy of Valve (We love his and sawyers works). I constructed the core, the stepcase room and obviously gave it a retexture, while jenkins added the pipework and made the custom textures for this map. The prongs spin round and such, the core rotates and will have a nice electricity animation flow over it (the minute we solve the teething problems).

New City Concepts:

Forgive the bad screenshots on these four, the original map we planned to take the pictures on was unfortunatly lost in a format (hopefully pandius has a copy when he gets back).
Top left is the new styled Military Building. Top right is the new captitol building with the Runner Enterprises building infront ofit. Bottom left is the Epson and Mortar headquarters (made up company name in the mod that specialises in machine-gun weaponry). And finally bottom right is a very large apartment building (maybe).

Well that's it for now, we shall hopefully be uploading 2 video trailors for the mod sometime in Janurary if everything goes well.

Merry Christmas and a happy new year!
