For one or another strange reason, I thought about Game of Thrones when I saw this. This armor is well made, keep up the good work! I'm so looking forward to the release of this mod!

The developmental history of this unit (kinda) is on Enpremi.artstation.com

The three Vineland units; Vineland Watchmen, Vineland Yardpatrollers and Vineland Guards are from the Vale of Dorwinion, the Land of Wine, near the Sea of Rhun and Celduin. They basically protect the vineyards from Easterlings. (All credit for description paraphrase to Cshewey and Maestro1).

Try and work out what game the chestplate is based off, hint it's also to do with wine.

I didn't know people could get so protective over their grape juice

Dorwinion is famous all over Middle-earth. It is even mentioned in the Silmarillion and The Children of Hurin. This is the wine that elves get drunk on.

i like that you guys are putting in work on the little things, instead of making the basic 4 factions of mordor, gondor, dwarves and whoever the **** else, but instead adding these little things as well. will make for an amazing mod! nice work guys. let me know if you need help with anything!

What kind of skills do you have? We need modellers most of all, but lore specialists, UI people and custom map makers can probably apply.
You also need to be able to be pretty active.

yeah, it's custom design. Dale was only briefly covered by weta and tolkien described Dorwinion's armies at all.

Are the units gonna seriously look like this ingame? The graphics and details look insane! I mean it looks like a new game...How can you improve the graphics so much that it looks so amazing?

It's not an in-engine screenshot. In game the render style will be different but will look almost same.

I wonder if the units armor and helmet(or color) gonna be various?U know to make the units won't look just the same 160 guys together.

Their clothing colour differs (currently 3 variants I believe), plus you have facial variance and as last you have unit tallness variance. These guys are tier 4 so their armour should the same though.

Just my worthless opinion but I don't like the generic name. Vīnea, vīneus, vīnum all mean vine and would look and sound more unique with or without the accent marks. It ain't no thang to me though, just saying. They look good.

Description

The most skillful warrior Dale can offer. With this the Dale roster is finished, at least concerning assets. Again, 3D preview in our library Moddb.com
