HOLY S***! That is beautiful! Excellent work! I love all the details with the horses on the armor! The sword is awesome so accurate! Is that shield a custom job or out of the movies?????

Great work from Robbie as usual!
Indeed the entire concept is from the films costume and armour department, from shield to boots, to clear that up :)

Did you know that part of theoden's speech was a line from Norse mythology? Some with Aragorns. I quote: Brothers will fight
and kill each other,
sisters' children
will defile kinship.
It is harsh in the world,
whoredom rife
—an axe age, a sword age
—shields are riven—
a wind age, a wolf age—
before the world goes headlong.
No man will have
mercy on another.

You can find the rest on wikipedia.
Edit: Awesome work Robbie!

So does this mean we won't have to wait for custom generals?

Nah we still will, just concept art is being made for Theoden and maybe the other generals but they probably won't be modelled for ages.

Looks amazing! My favorite part is definetly the shield. Just 101% perfect. The used colors (overall but especially the shield) are a great contrast to the typical Green/White Rohan style. (No problem with that style though.) Keep up the amazing work Robbie McSweeney hopefully you let us see the genesis of some concepts again soon. :)
