In the works for a very long time, the Tides of War public beta has finally arrived! It is more than just a Star Wars total conversion; it is a roleplay system dedicated to enjoyability while remaining true to Star Wars canon. The Tides of War mod is carefully laid out to provide excellent gameplay balance while rewarding player skill and tactical ability. Because of the roleplaying system used by the ToW community, combat frequently involves large fleets of capital ships and supporting fighters, leading to rich battles laden with shrewd calculation and brutal combat. Tides of War is set during the height of the Galactic Civil War, around the Return of the Jedi. There are three primary player factions: the Imperial Navy, the Rebel Alliance, and Civilians.
