Tiberian Eclipse is a total conversion mod for Unreal Tournament 3 that brings the theme of the famous RTS game C&C;Tiberian Sun to a whole new genre. BTE will bring the player into the war that rages between Nod and GDI and allow them to battle that in the past, has only been seen overhead. We have a lot of key and unique features we plan to implement into our mod that will set us apart from all others. Not only this, but creative liberties are going to be implemented into this TC. Although I want this mod to be recognized as a Tiberian Sun conversion, we are not strictly held to the style. Original objects from TS will be recognizeable (the Orca Fighter for instance) but will also be revamped with a new style. We do not feel the mod should be done to exactness because there is no creativity in that.

Today we have an update that's a bit different from most of the updates we will be posting. A while ago we were contacted by Hughie Brennan for possible music composing work. We talked about what the mod was and what it was going for, and a few weeks ago he submitted some music clips that he worked pretty hard on. If I do say so myself, Hughie produced some top quality music for us :). So without further delay, take a listen to two of the demo tracks that might make it into our mod. We really feel it has a wicked Tiberian Sun sound to it.

We have been told previously that the author of the music of Tiberian Sun is usually good about letting mods use his work, however we really want as much content of the mod to be our own work. Hope you like the tracks, and expect to hear more about Hughie Brennan and his work he will be contributing to us.

Sorry about that, the tracks are now linked. We were having some trouble last night posting this news, it kept automatically deleting it. We tried taking out all the links and it still said it had been automatically deleted, but I guess it decided to post itself somehow :P
