Tiberian Eclipse is a total conversion mod for Unreal Tournament 3 that brings the theme of the famous RTS game C&C;Tiberian Sun to a whole new genre. BTE will bring the player into the war that rages between Nod and GDI and allow them to battle that in the past, has only been seen overhead. We have a lot of key and unique features we plan to implement into our mod that will set us apart from all others. Not only this, but creative liberties are going to be implemented into this TC. Although I want this mod to be recognized as a Tiberian Sun conversion, we are not strictly held to the style. Original objects from TS will be recognizeable (the Orca Fighter for instance) but will also be revamped with a new style. We do not feel the mod should be done to exactness because there is no creativity in that.
GDI Orca Bomber is about complete as far as 3D is concerned. Also got a few shows showing how the bomber works with animations (defense turret and landing gears).
is this gonna be cell shaded, when in game?
I was thinking that too, but I'm also hoping it will be.
Command and Conquer did have that cartoony effect about it so this would be a nice way and a decent alternative direction to making it.

These models are untextured. They are simply rendered in Max with different colored faces. The reason it has that black border around it is just to make it so it doesn't blend in with the background
so how will planes like this handle in-game?

my fullest intent is for them to handle in a realistic way (if you move the mouse up or down, the nose will also go up or down), however, I still do want to keep jump and crouch as an altitude changer.
In order for this to happen though, I do need a programmer. So if anyone knows any, pleeease send them my way :)
