This kind of headdress is a northern ethnical (Gheg) headdress, not a southern (Tosk) one, which would be the troops of the Pashalik of Ioannina. They would wear:

If you think South Albanian is too similar to greek you can distinguish by giving Greeks some of their costumes which have blue color (we don't have that).
