Unfortunately the Garrett animations in 1.1.7 had some serious issues - at least in third person, where the stabbing and blackjacking animations were broken. Those issues are fixed in 1.1.7.1.
There's also a fix for the replacement T3.exe quitting immediately after launching the game - which would break Steam time-keeping yet again - and a couple of other minor changes.
Because of the mod changes the Full Edition is necessary for updating. But if you installed 1.1.7 you can save some installation time by keeping the currently installed mods and reinstalling only the Garrett animations.
