Darkness... My body hurts! Or is it my brain? The explosion! I remember it now. Maybe I'm in a coma? Or even worst, I may be already dead... Everything is so confusing... Zombies, monsters and ghosts from the past are filling my mind... Oh God, so many memories mixed with my dreams! I can't even distinguish them anymore. What if my entire life was just a nightmare? But it felt so real... Wait, what's that sweet voice? Sounds like a nurse! THAT is part of reality, I am sure. Now if I could just concentrate on this voice and try to wake up...

This mod was unbelievably bad. It has poor voice acting, maps that lead you in circles, and seems as if it were made before Half Life was even released.

To its credit, SOME of the models and maps were creative, but even then, you'd just see the same base enemy with a different model.

The voices of the zombies, particularly the skeletons, were just laughable. I wanted to mute the game before I died laughing at their ridiculous voices.

The story was all over the place. I could follow it as much as I could the maps that circled back to their start.

I think there were very few parts I actually enjoyed. The last boss fight in the helicopter was surprisingly creative, but got very annoying as you ran low on ammo.

The only things that stuck with me after this mod were a bad taste in my mouth and that gosh-darned song in the credits. Knowing that this was released on the Sega Dreamcast-literally a year after HL, no less- shocks me. Seeing the reviews here that say it's scary shock me. The fact that this mod is so highly praised shocks me. I can understand, it was made with their best in a short ammount of time, but that's just it- it was a rushed game and surely feels like it. It got no better or less chessy as the episodes continued. I'm sorry, but I really just didn't enjoy this mod.
