Leave it go for a little while, they are simply showcasing the units they've made, the backround is clearly still The Wastes, but seriously, I'd love, to see you do any better.

Good job guys, keep it up.

Although; might just be me (used to the miniatures a bit more these days), but, is it the Spec. map/lighting or something that is making the green really deep? Or is there a shading effect, like some orks will be that deep deep green and others, more of a WAR (Warhammer Online/Age of Reckoning) green-style?

ha, i just wasnt gonna reply, but thanks. Anyone that thinks they look like mutants needs their eyes checked.

yes it is in the wastes, obviously. The screenshot was taken by a member without the new worldspaces.

As for the ork colouration - it is a very tricky question. Specifically the WarOnline colours are based on Warhammer Fantasy, not 40K. 40K orks are always much more vibrant (just head to GW website and see), with a reversed aging colour scheme (in 40K they get darker as they age). We have to tread a fine line, balancing accuracy to the tabletop game and what looks realistic and reasonable in a game with a very realistic engine. I personally lean towards the desaturated green/grey orks more, being a realism fan, but we wont alienate those who want a truer 40k experience.

And as you can see we have integrated a size/colour scaling for the bigger/more powerful orks. No stone unturned

V2 of the shot is up. The ground is still not our worldspace, but the sky is. It is very high res too, so hopefully everyone's eyes can differentiate orks and mutants now!

Anyway, enjoy again!

They LOOK like ORKS...not super mutants...it is totally different, they only share the size, and color, and actually, these are a different shade of green than the super mutants...

yeah, great job on the modelling/textures and etc. but my only criticism is about the size, in the DOW games the orcs were stereotypically big dumb brutes, so what I'm getting at is the muscles, they need to be more gratuitus and large, they need to look like they are your worst nightmare in mele combat...but I couldn't do any better, so Great work!

in my experience ork 'boyz' look nothing like the stereotypical ork - they are usually pretty scrawny in TT. The bigger orks and special characters will be as you request, although clipping always rears its ugly head too. Damn you skeletons!

The orks are an NPC race which share a common skeleton and animation set with the PC and human NPC alike. It has facegen, facial expression, ability to talk, and skin variant. The limitation here is that a custom skeleton will replace the current human skeleton.
If it's a creature then we could have a new skeleton and animations, but we would have to sacrifice the facegen, skin variant, ect, and the ability to make them as playable race.

Have you thought of making them more wider and bulkier? they seem kinda "weak" for the moment, but good job anyways

They look great.

One suggestion for the skeleton. have it so they look like they are slumped over and their head like the tt mini's. There posture seems to "upright" to me :/ otherwise great job :)

yeah their not hunched. Orks have a natural hunch making their heads rather level with their shoulders as opposed to on top.

This mod sounds awesome good luck

This just looks fantastic, especially the detail to the weapons, and although it's probably far off I am wondering how the voices will be.

GOOD SIR! Did you just say detail while talking about ORK weaponry?!

The weapons look too clean. At least, too clean to match their outfits. Their armor shows rag-tag orkz, while their weapons say fresh out off the drying rack.
