WARP - Warhammer 40K "Auspices of the Righteous" Project

WARP is a Total Conversion modification for Fallout3 based on Games Workshop's Warhammer 40K universe. It is entirely unofficial and uses the intellectual property of Games Workshop without their express permission, in accordance with their stated stance on modifications. Until we hear otherwise copyright has not been infringed.
What is WARP?
WARP is a total conversion. This means it contains entirely new worldspace, characters, quests and content. New enemies are in production. Game mechanics will be heavily overhauled, with an independant and unique tiered levelling system based on the Codex Astartes class designations. An epic storyline involving multiple factions, mystery and betrayal will drive a strongly characterised and immersive play experience. Depending on how energetic we are new architecture and world texture sets are also likely to be included. Within the limitations of the engine, the GECK and our patience very little FO3 content will be recycled.
WARP will be released episodically. It will consist of 4-5 chapters, chronicling the player character�s ascent from simple tribesman to the elite of the Black Templar Space Marine chapter.
Currently in production is a teaser release featuring an incomplete section of Chapter 2, centred on the player�s first mission as a Neophyte. This teaser is titled Custer�s Last Stand, and is loosely based around a battle report from a White Dwarf magazine many years ago.

Where can I get some WARP?
You can�t. Not yet anyway. Stay tuned though. Screenshots are coming up frequently. The first teaser trailer should be available in the near future. The teaser itself is progressing rapidly, so you will get your hands on your very own chainsword very soon.
Will WARP be War40k accurate?
It has to be. To comply with the laws set out by Games Workshop in using their intellectual property we must not alter their IP in any way. Of course, what works in a tabletop game may not work in a first person shooter. Dont expect unlimited ammo or a turn-based strategy game! Expect a fluff-accurate and enjoyable War40 experience.

After some delay, as a few kinks get ironed out, we reveal the next group of combatants ...
DAEMONS! The evil of chaos rears its head. Will you take up the challenge and force the hordes back into the Immaterium?
The warbands of chaos emerge as another combatant in the epic storyline of WARP, albeit not for some time. While you wont see them in action for a while, we couldnt resist dropping this chum into the water, the feeding frenzy that results will no doubt please the Lord of Blood.
The bloodletters, like all of the characters in WARP, are re-imagined as dark and realistically brutal. This isnt World of Warcraft, this is a game for adults. A hulking, bronze-clad, hell-forged daemon - no cartoony enemies here.
Zenl, our creature masterworker has pulled out all the stops on this one. Once again we bow to his greatness!
In other news production is moving on the areas that have slowed us down. Release is unfortunately not possible this year, but will not be too far off.
