The Thing, the first Half-Life 2 mod released by a certain Donald before the final release of Half-Life 2. The original mod was made to be played on the 2003 leaked version of Half-Life 2. The Thing Remaster is a remastered version of the original mod for the Source SDK Base 2013 Singpleplayer. (If you want to use or repost my work, please contact me first)
For the first mod ever made without having anyone to tell you what to do or where to go in Source modding,
that was a pretty damn interesting showcase.
An excellent remaster of the original the thing mod, the new details and possibilities allowed by the 2013 engine are well used.
Very good way of replaying this absolute dinosaur in HL2 modding.
Whilst not played the original mod, the remastered version is actually not that bad. The vehicle is almost useless, however.
