You are Thomas Krane, a human rebel against the combine. Recently you were ambushed during an assault on a combine depot firing headcrab canisters, and now you are left alone, by yourself in some abandoned mines. A dark secret happened in the mines, but it is now long forgotten, as you fight to stay alive you will encounter antlions, zombies, and stumble across the events that happened there decades ago, in "The mines"

Post news Report RSS We are back, after a slight computer malfunction

Unfortunately for the past few weeks, my computer has died on me, so progress has been slow.

Yes, due to forces beyond my control (Damn internal cooling system) my PC has been out of commission for the past three weeks, this means that progress on level editing has been slow and has been crawling along.
But do not fear! Although there has been not much progress in the past three weeks, we have other parts of the mod that have been developing continuously throughout this time, and we have another member of the team: tymaxbeta! And his arrival could not have come at a better time, he has helped us develop a note system and is currently making an awesome prototype to a proper intro to the mod, and based on what ideas we came up with, its going to be awesome!

So, this is the progress that we have made:
-The 5th level is almost done, just a few more bits to add
-Going over more details in the earlier levels and changing the geometry around a bit
-Decided on having the 6th and 7th levels as matinence (narrow hallways, pipes, metal)
-Got a note system (not installed yet)
-Working on an intro to the 1st level
-planning on getting custom textures and decals put in (more discussion needed)

So now our return cannot be more close to the edge as it already is, because the Mod Of The Year Competition is upon us, so many good mods are out there, and they look fantastic, so voting is going to be intense this year, so vote to your heats content for your favorite mod! and if it's this mod, even better!

So wait a few days so we can get screen-shots of our progress sorted out and then we will release them for you all to see!

Most mods setback by hardware failures usually don't return, I'm glad to see you got through it in roughly one piece :D
