does gondor get their ring hero unit without the ring now?
if not changed I recommend you change it so gondor get them if arnor gets them in a building
I don't think it will be good because those units recruited by Ring Hero Boromir is pretty strong for both combat and leadership. I wouldn't recommend to change it. :)
From what I've been told Arnor gets those units from a building.
hence to balance it out should gondor not get them for free?
all of the other factions get their elite units without any issue.
Imladris, Dwarves, Isengard, Angmar, Gondor needs those without the ring.
It doesn't means that other factions getting their "elite" units for free others that must. Also first of all; Guardians of the White Tree is not an "elite" units, Gondor's elite unit are Tower Guards and Ithilien Rangers. White Tree guards belongs to the "Heroic" class ( Edain.fandom.com ), which is can be the strongest unit for that faction. One more thing, just a few of Heroic units gives Leadership bonus to units near to itself, so Tree Guards could be so "strong" to be added as a normal elite unit, because rather than the others they have a strong leadership bonus. Of course this is just my thoughts, I don't know what does others think but that's my thought about them. Finally; not all heroic units "just being recrutied", they all have a special condition to be recruited. E.x. to recruit Khazad-Dum guards you first need to recruit a Dwarven Elite Unit, later send it with horses and they'll arrive as Khazad-Dum Warriors. To recruit some others units all upgrades must be purchased. :)
