The Silent Cartographer: Evolved is a ground-up reimagining of the classic Halo level. Along with an almost entirely custom content base, including high-fidelity models, textures, animations, visual effects, and sound design, TSC:E features all-new environments, a finely-tuned gameplay sandbox, and a wide array of well-hidden secrets.
Includes Truth & Reconciliation: Revisited and Precipice (H1 Spirit). These are both enhanced with Open Sauce extensions, but are still fully playable on stock Custom Edition. Also includes an Open Sauce-only bonus test map with cut content and features.
Truth & Reconciliation: Revisited is an updated version of the stock Truth & Reconciliation campaign map, built using significantly-updated assets from CMT's 2012 demo release, and the Evolved source release's stock-gameplay-preserving h1_spirit tags.
Precipice (H1 Spirit) is an updated version of Siliconmaster's 2011 custom multiplayer map, also using h1_spirit tags.
Both maps feature enhanced visuals if you're using Open Sauce, but are still fully playable and feature-complete on a stock Custom Edition install.

Install guide:
This package contains only map files. If you previously downloaded the "TSC:E + Installers" package from Tsce.info, you already have all required prerequisites!
If not, you'll need to install Halo Custom Edition and Patch 1.10. You need a valid CD key for Halo PC to install Custom Edition. You can find installers here:
- Halo Custom Edition: Haloce3.com
- Patch 1.0.10: Haloce3.com
If you want to take advantage of Open Sauce extensions, you can find its installer here: Haloce3.com
After that, just copy the map files to your Halo Custom Edition/maps folder.
- T&R: Revisited can be launched using the in_game console, by entering "map_name a50_revisited".
- Precipice can be launched from the Multiplayer menu, or from a dedicated server's map list, like other multiplayer maps.

"I don't know how to set up the in-game console!"
1. Find the Halo Custom Edition shortcut on your desktop, right click, and select "Properties".
2. Select the "Shortcut" tab.
3. At the end of the "Target:" field, after the end quote, add "-console" (without quotes).
4. Run Halo Custom Edition from the shortcut.
5. Open the in-game console using the ` backtick key (top left of your keyboard).

Regarding non-English languages:
We have built the 1.4.1 release's map files with the intent of supporting non-English language versions of Halo CE (meaning you should not experience crashes, corrupt data, or other game-breaking issues). We have verified that they are playable in both Spanish and Chinese versions of the game; however, we do not have the capacity to to localize our English content base or test in every released language. Please reach out if you encounter game-breaking issues related to localization support!
