Yeah, after hastily coding some units and projectiles, I wasn't pleased so I redid them. That and the new features are takin so long.
Dude plasma?All star wars weapons(Balster,Tourbolaser etc)i know is particle based.(particle based weapons are wayyy better then Plasma based weaponry.)
The Zann Aggressor cruiser uses plasma weapons, the huge ones that first knock out shields and the other huge one that does damage, are both PLASMA, and do much more damage that any other particle based weaponry(TLs and Blasters).
Actually the first one is an ion cannon.The second one...well i gess its plasma.
But that's not the point.You see, the only reason the gun do so much damage because of its massive size.Technically if the gun was a turbo laser,it would probably destroy a shielded VSD with a single shot.I'm not saying that the plasma is useless in SW universe I'm just saying its vastly inferior to TL and Blasters.
In SW universe plasma is cheaper then Tibanna gas(The key component for TL and Blasters).These is one of the main reasons the Zann Consortium utilize plasma in their weapons.(Most of their ships and troops are expensive to maintain so they needed to cut cost in some place.)
So in the end I'm just going to say that your plan to make republic ships better by utilizing plasma weapon in not a scientifically solid idea.if i were you i would make the weapons a little more canon(you can use fusion acceleration weapons shown in The Force Unleashed II.from what i can tell the gun used in the Battle of Kamino is capable of holeing imperial vessel without any assistance from starkiller).But then again I know its pretty much stupid to think about realism in a science fiction and its your mod so its your decision to make.
Oh another thing,sonic Missile?You know that space is empty right?How are you suppose to make sound(let alone sound wave)in space?(I recommend changing the name to seismic missile.)
