The Dawn is what the scholars call the era following the fall of the Calradian Empire. It was a time of war with the various nations, clans, and tribes fighting for dominion over the fragmented empire. When it was all over, Five Kingdoms had arisen from the bloodshed, and finally there was peace. The peace eventually came to an end in the later part of The Dawn, bringing forth a new age, one of war.
