The Procyon Insurgency is a classic campaign and expansion pack for Freespace 2. It begins in the year 2368, 18 months after the end of the main Freespace 2 story. As a new Vasudan pilot recently recruited into the ranks of the GTVA, you are assigned to the crew of the GVD Sekham in Polaris as the Alliance fights back against an insurgent separatist regime and discovers much greater forces at play. The campaign was designed from the outset to emphasize the mission design and gameplay experience, with challenging combat scenarios and a complex and engrossing plot that expands upon the Freespace universe. It was released in April 2007 as the culmination of over 1000 hours of work spread out over the years, and today remains a classic Freespace campaign from an earlier era.

Mission 14 in the Knossos release seems to be broken. The Agni is spawning directly in the middle of the portal.
PLEASE HELP!, I'm unable to complete mission 14 part 2.
Alpha 1 and Alpha 3 keep waiting near the asteroid base for Agni to leave, but since its already at the portal they remain there and every time i play, alpha wing gets detected by gemini wing and the mission fails. I'm unable to order the friendly AI to form on my wing and get away from the installation.
i even tried using cheats to kill all the AI but the trigger seems to be hard coded in the script..
i really want to see what's in the other side of that portal!
This issue has been fixed and came up in one of the recent FSO build updates. Try getting the latest version here or from the Knossos mod manager.
Try to ask for help on the Hard-Light Productions forums.
Looks sweet. Somehow I missed this a couple of years ago, will give this a go (and I thought I had weaned myself off my Freespace 2 addiction)
Half way through and really enjoying this. With the FS open code, the graphics look great and the missions are great with a very absorbing storyline. I may be a couple of years out of date but this is impressive stuff. Thanks
PI is one of my favorite campaigns. It's challenging, too, and I wish it was voice acted.
Best mod ever! Its very hard, and the last mission is absolute GOLD with the cutscene. I REALLY do hope you make a sequel. I will be waiting. :D
