This total-conversion mod takes the Battle for Middle-earth II to the Fifth Century BCE, replacing the original content with two new, fully-fledged factions: Sparta and Athens. Completely new content, strategies and more awaits you. This project is brought to you by Kwen, Matias, Lauri, njm1983, Glaeken and Mike who are hosted at the3rdage.net, a division of revora.net.
Still a work in progress, Athen's Temple to Athena is now in the process of being textured.
I love the model, very good. But just to let you know, the Parthenon has 8 pillars in the front and 17 back including the front and back pillar. I understand that may be a bit large to do but figured id say. I mean to help with that not slam
I know it does. ;)
I had initially made the whole thing, but the polycount went up too much and I couldn't lower it without ruining the model. So I almost literally cut it in half.
It'd be too big, anyway.
Thanks for the comment. :)
Anytime haha. I figured itd be to large or the polys anyway. Cant wait for further models as well as the mod, i absolutely LOVE Greek mythology/history. Keep it up :)
What does the building do ?
It serves as the Athenian fortress.
Do it have upgrades ? I mean , for instance , recruit some gaurds who look around the fortress and defend it when attacked . I like your mod , believe me , I'm looking forward your team! keep up your work !
There won't be any fortress upgrades like vanilla BFME2 has them, but it will be little bit customizable in a different way.
Sparta however will most likely have some kind of upgrade that spawns guards around their buildings.
Hmm, you could base the Athenian "fortress" off the Tholos in Athens, which housed the Pryteny, the executive committee of the city council (Boule).
