I am the Creative Director and Project Manager at Lambda Interactive, the developers for our new mod, The Orange Suit Project. Although it sounds naive, we are producing a Half-Life 2: Episode Two sequel. Our goal is to faithfully use the same methodology of making our mod in our design process as Valve once did for the making of the Half-Life franchise. It is to feature puzzles, down time, and most importantly, a lot of fun with the gravity gun. The mod features clever gameplay using the gravity gun that you have never seen. We are centric on the gravity gun because we thought it was underused in the original Half-Life 2 franchise.

Not sure how far you can really go with Xen in HL2 engine.
But it'd be cool if you took some concepts from the EP3 Xen concepts.
Like the space around the Player being distorted, trippy 'hallucinations' induced by Advisors chasing us, strange sphere-sky box entities like the ones here in the background.

And maybe... implement this creature somehow? which could possibly be some sort of 'access route' to other sections in the border world, like the Player could go inside one of the spheres around it and take us to another area, perhaps.
