Yep, that type of noseguards weren't used in Hungary. However, the wings are historycally accurate, as they were first used by Croatians in the army of Hungary, then of course by the Hungarian and Serbian Hussars, an when Batory became the King of Poland, he make a tradition of winged hussar is Poland. Poland has more steppes, so the tradition lived there longer; in the Carpathian Basin it has been relitively short, because the thick and dense forests, which often hooked these horsemen :D
