This is the Ilsamiren Wars, an original fantasy mod being developed for Medieval II: Total War and the Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion, in order to present the most complete picture possible of the world of the Ilsamiren Wars.
In the Oblivion version you will be able to play as one of three characters: Udeval, Bezhir or Veros. Each character's story will show you a different side to the one conflict.
You will of course have great freedom as in any Elder Scrolls game, however, the story of the Ilsamiren Wars is a more forceful one than that of Oblivion, and so there will be more pressure on the player to complete certain set tasks.

I just wanted to update everyone on the project. It's not dead by any means, I've just moved to a much more useable platform for the concept and, if I'm honest, it will give me the scope to realise my original ideas much better.
A Total War mod is not beyond the realms of possiblity in the future, but for the moment I'm focussing on this new iteration.
I won't be posting here anymore, but if anyone is interested in doing some concept work for the new mod that would be great. Shoot me a PM here or at Crymod.com if you're interested.
Thanks to everyone who has offered support during the previous of the concept - it has been invaluable as a source of encouragement, but sadly, there's only so much I could do by myself.

Your models aren't looking so great to be honest, a bit mediocre.

Well, not the most eloquent of questions, but here goes:
The Ilsamiri are the dominant civilisation of the continent. The mod tells the story, from several perspectives, of the conflicts they are involved in and which eventually cripple their society, hence the Ilsamiren Wars.
The mod is also being developed for the game Medieval II: Total War, which will show the large scale side of things. The Oblivion mod will show the effects of the war on individuals and will also detail the war from a number of perspectives. Hope that helps.
