Good luck guys!
Gonna be a top runner in this one!
well for one you dont know what a monster could or couldnt do have you seen one I know i ahvent I mean really its your word agaisnt everyone else's for all you know there built to do that loll
It fun for a while, but gets boring when all you have is a pseudo RE5 movements and your foes can manage to move perfectly fast throughout the level, and everyone CAN JUMP... That's what broke the game a bit... People being able to jump...
Climbing is one thing, but being able to rapidly jump forward to help you gain a distance is a bit unrealistic... Monsters can't really bunny hop too since they might lose speed over each jump.
There needs to be some adjustments, like weapons actually feels strong and you really feel overwhelmed, so it makes the weapons feel more important than running around the map, jump kicking everything...
Monster needs spawn adjusting, but it might be dependent on the pacing of the game.... I'm thinking of a 10 minute long round but the makers probably aimed at less than 5 minute round...
I think you should change the way you view the game. In the first version, this game was a round based horror survival game. You actually had to play strategically and carefully. However, when the big version 2 came around it lost it's roots and turned into a fast paced action zombie killing game. It seems like that's what you are looking for but it was much more fun in the first version... why? Because it was difficult. After my friends and I played on LAN the game was almost no challenge as long as you played cheap tactics. Litterally, we couldn't lose and we felt as if there was no thread of loss. Essentially when that happens in a game it no longer becomes fun. Please go back to your roots or do a whole lot of balancing.
The game is great and I really want it to succeed I'm just giving you my thoughts.
maybe they should put in an auto adjust skill feature wich gives you a little more enemies (or stronger enemy-attacks) after each won round
Fun game. I would say though that trying to go for Retail / Download isn't such a good idea.
Games just like this are coming out from many Retail publishers very soon, and to be honest, while I found it fun, I found it to be to much like Resident Evil 4 meets Zombie Master.
In its current state, without any storymode or objectives beyond survive, it could make a fine PSN or Xboxlive purchase a bit down the road, but if they overkill and make some kind of storyline or something to really capture players into the coop environment I could see a full blown retail release in the future.
ATM it is definitely one of the highest quality UT3 mods that has released a stable v1.0
Looks great....Wish I could play it :/
