I dont't know whether it is Dead Air or me but it feels like [hud_fov] is set too small so I usually only get to see the hands and very little of the arms.
Changing the [hud_fov] from 0.27 to 0.3 helped this issue if anyone wants to know. ;)
You're right, I get headaches even after twerking both the camera_fov and the hud_fov. It's odd like the camera placement is moved forward from the player position resulting in a bubble effect, My best guess is that it's deliberately positioned that way to avoid clipping with the fps legs.
Probably so. I can live with a little clipping. Is it new models also or just textures actually? I noticed sometimes NPCs don't have the gun in quite the right position compared to their hand. Usually happens when they have their gun in a resting state rather than lifted up infront of them.
Man this mod is great but sucks that I get out of memory ctd after I install this addon, anyone else getting this? Iv seen this out of memory crash happen with other heavy texture addons/mods like 4K Textures but with this one its even worse. Hope in 1.0 they fix such x-ray engine limitation.

80% of textures are 2048x1024 res,15% are 2048x2048,5% 1024x1024.
All diffuse maps use dxt1 compression and bump maps use dxt5 compression. I've made sure that all textures use Mipmaps to specifically avoid memory leaks. You can confirme the use of mipmaps by simply scaling down texture quality in game, you'll see this mod texture will be scaled down with everything.
Therefore i think that the issue is probably some mods you've installed prior to this one.
I was wondering if there would be any chance to get a hands and arms model/texture that matches the Nomad Suit's camo from the DAOO addon for DA 0.98b?
I already changed up the textures in my outfit.ltx for the Nomad Suit to use the Monolith hands yet they don't quite match camo pattern on the legs.
And since we are at it any chance you are going to make new legs for actor in DA? ;D
I'm not going to touch DAOO for now mostly because of the upcoming Dead air 1.0 update, the update will probably change a lot of stuff and mess up things in the process. It happened to me with Anomaly 1.5 3.0 update so i'd like to avoid that, as for the legs, they are 3rd person models just without head and hands so you can easily change the model or the texture to match it with the Monolith hands.
As for making new legs, i'd say maybe, who knows i'm currently working on several projects and packs and i'm kinda busy irl to, so it's hard to tell really.

I've got so used to STALKERS janky 3rd person animations that i didn't even notice this in Dead Air hhXD

Oh well, you giving the extra work on DAOO some consideration is all I ask. :D
Tbh, I didn't think of giving the suit monolith legs to match up with the hands. xD Silly me.
Then again I actually like the dryleaf-cammopattern of the Nomad Suit, that's why I want to keep it. :)
