Did the persians go for a russian themed uniform style? they seem quite similar.
They don't look that similar really, in fact some of the regiments were designed by Russians, some by Austrians and so on.
Ah, i had a feeling they followed western military styles. Interesting.
Of course, actually that was a kind of mixture of modernism and traditionalism though some of them were fully designed by Western countries, especially Austria.
Intriguing. I'll have to study up on 1800's Persia to some extent, I've never cared much for persia much after the Fall of the Zoroastrians, Although i'm sure it's a history worth studying nevertheless.
