An alternate history mod based on HPM, in which Napoleon Bonaparte I accepted the 1813 Frankfurt proposals, giving up all his conquests outside of the so called "Natural Borders of France", in exchange for peace and being allowed to keep his throne. However, Napoleon was forced to abdicate to his son, Napoleon II, as the outraged people and army demanded. He was then forced to St. Helena, so he couldn't come back. Now, in the year of our Lord 1836, the French Empire is an absolute monarchy, ruled by Emperor Napoleon II.

The mod, as said in the mod summary, is based off HPM:
In further news, this mod gives France a more "Bonaparte" looking flag, seen in the thumbnail. It also gives France her "natural borders", and the ruling party is Bonapartisté. I also removed all of Prussia's (but not Germany or the releasable Rhineland) cores, so you wont have the Prussians out for blood immediately. I also ripped out the French Revolution and 2nd empire events, as in this timeline it would make no sense. I also removed the Springtime of Nations, and Age of Liberalism event chains for France, as they are still riding off the ideals of the French Revolution. Plus, I removed the event about Napoleon III rambling in Switzerland, as it made no sense in the timeline. The only issues I have seen in my testing so far is some random French troops in the Netherlands, and I don't know why. Also, Prussian units start in the Rhine. This is my first mod, so Idk how to fix that yet. Anyway, have fun with my mod! Vive l'Empereur!

I've been waiting for this to be updated. But I think Napoleon would find refuge in America instead of St. Helena. After Waterloo he tried to go there before surrendering to the British. His brothers lived in America until they were allowed to return to France. Maybe Napoleon spends the rest of his days as a scientist like he wanted or helped reform America's military tactics and structure, making America a more powerful military power. Just spitballing suggestions here.
You're right, however im not good enough of a modder as this is my first mod, so im just pretending the rebelling populace and soldiery gave him up to the british

Is the event to go to war with Britain for Canada still in this mod? It was in the demo a year ago.

Also some of the events on Indochina never happened, mainly the one that let's you annex Vietnam. The war with China never poped up either and the event to get New Zealand as France didn't either. Also two suggestions, maybe you could come up with a way to get Morocco to be conquered like any other African nation when the Scramble for Africa happens and have and event where you can get all of Holland's colonies if you conquer the cores you have on them in Europe. I think you need the French PanNationalism decision to get the Canada event, that wasn't in the list of decisions on the playthrough I did. This is a follow up to the reply below.

no, it has the hpm mod in it, you just run the mod by itself
