The Eridanus Insurrection is an Arma 3 Halo-based mod focused on the civil war between the United Nations Space Command (UNSC) and the Insurrectionists, various groups of rebel factions amongst the outer human colonies. This mod will include multiple factions, a wide variety of weapons and vehicles, and a custom made terrain (map) for you to play with. Now strap in and prepare to drop into Altis.

One of the largely unexplored aspects of the Halo universe is that neither the Earth Government nor the UNSC come across as particularly nice entities. The justification for waging a war against the colonial separatists in the first place never seems to extend much beyond the traditional idiotic refusal of empires to relinquish their holdings (as an example, why couldn't the French just let Algeria go, instead of embarking on a campaign of torture and murder? In the event they lost Algeria anyway and only succeeded in making themselves look like colossal ******** on the international scene).
Never forget that the Spartan program (which just as a start involved kidnapping children and replacing them with clones that were programmed to die of 'natural causes') was originally meant for slaughtering rebel humans. It was only the appearance of the Covenant that turned this utterly disreputable program into something heroic.
The new Halo trilogy seems intent on at least partially exploring these facts, and specifically how much of a terrible human being Halsey in particular is.
Would be interesting to explore this in our campaign, wouldn't it?

Anyway, it sounds like some massive roleplay server to me !
Our later UNSC civlian pack should improve civilian looks not only for our mod, but all of the Arma community as well.
Females god please females, they were in the military in combat roles in this universe dear god please please bring them to life in arma too....( i know thats really not your area of focus but dear god if the future is a sausage fest too then im abandoning ship now.)
p.s. if u just mod in the armor for a sightly more female shape the existing female head mods will suffice.
females are definately on our list however as much as we want to make them legit we will probably end up doing just heads, like other mods. reason being, we would have to redo every vest and every uniform and then somehow restrict male from using female parts and vice a versa. we might go the full nine at some point but initially it will just be female heads.
well to be honest the female head mod already existing has rigged heads that already fit the helmets u have perfectly.... like as if they were made for your mod rather then standard arma gear....
I'm totally down for fitting a female body after I make the new suits in a few months. But yeah, as dog said, restricting them and stuff will be the issue.
