The Eridanus Insurrection is an Arma 3 Halo-based mod focused on the civil war between the United Nations Space Command (UNSC) and the Insurrectionists, various groups of rebel factions amongst the outer human colonies. This mod will include multiple factions, a wide variety of weapons and vehicles, and a custom made terrain (map) for you to play with. Now strap in and prepare to drop into Altis.

Will we be seeing the M247 GPMG soon/ever? And will this LMG and the other TEI weapons use the new features in the Marksman DLC(Bipods where applicable,etc)? I can't wait to have UNSC and Innies with proper MGs and sniper rifles.
The M247 is being modelled now as a top priority for inclusion in the next update. It will be mounted on the aircraft, and used as a MMG in your hands or mounted on a tripod.
Yes, we plan to include any and all features that the Marksman DLC will bring!

That M247 looks better than the one seen in halo 2.
Just looks like an M60 clone. We will be using the H2A version but slightly modified.
Speaking of the next update to this mod crafted by the gods themselves when will the next update be released a bunch of the grunts from the UNSC 5th fleet have been dying to know. Could we get a rough estimate?
No estimate, but tell those grunts from the 5th to stop acting a fool on the MP servers.

The CE era assault rifle with quad stacked 60 round mag? Maybe that's why they didn't have it in the lore?(So, kind of a L85/L86 LSW sort of deal?)

Cool, that LMG from that one piece of concept art for Reach. I always liked the look of it, had a "Aliens" feel to it.
Also, I forgot to ask this in my last post, but-- Do you plan on adding the HMG-38 in a later patch as well?
