Since the dawn of time, just beyond the veil of the known, souls of the dead have gathered in battle to determine their fate. It is on this plane, the gateway between the realms, the bridge between Heaven, Hell and the mortal realm, that Angel, Demon and mortal will battle to decide their fate. A place where you will fight for your very soul. A place Where the weak will perish and the strong will prevail. A place where mortals and the forces of Heaven and Hell collide in a titanic battle. This is the Crucible: the ultimate trial. The Crucible is a new multiplayer based game, that will feature a unique 1st/3rd person combat and movement system blended with traditional FPS play. The Crucible will place a heavy emphasis on action, violent gun battles and brutal melee combat. Players will be afforded a great deal of customization for characters, gameplay and gametypes.

The Crucible mod for UT3 add new weapons, characters, maps and gameplay elements. Set in a Heaven vs Hell theme, The Crucible features award winning weaponry, characters and art, a new movement system, new gore and RoadRage, a gametype where players upgrade vehicles and battle it out across large maps.
The Crucible is a mod for UT3, that adds award winning new weaponry, characters and art.With the release of the update v1.2, we've moved out of a TC and back into mutator implementation to add greater versatility. Some of the key features include:
-9 new award winning weapons.
-Award winning characters including the Savior, Crusader, Skeleton Minion, Zombie, Hel and Gargoyle.
-8 new maps, including 2 Road Rage maps.
-Road Rage gametype adds maniacal vehicle combat.
-New movement system.
-Extensive new Gore system.
-New items replace the stock items.
-New HUD (in certain gametypes).
-Unlockable Dual Swords by using Hammer.
-Various settings, such as health regeneration, barrel actors, Un-desaturation, Move speed modifier and more.

Do I need to have my game patched to v2.1?

is there a uninstall by game crashes at the moment when i start to make new characters and use the default UT 3 maps
DON`T work it destroyes my UT3 when I copy it

Hm..im installing this right now. ill try it and try to see what the problem is and get back to you guys.
(edit from my last post..stupid edit time limit) well it seems to be the characters causing the problem. when i tried to select it it started lagging and freezing. im using a win7 and my laptop is really powerful.
The developer needs to rework his characters or make them compatible with other pc systems.
edit again:selecting the any one fo the mutators freeze the game. this mod seems like a game breaker right now. i suggest the developer shuts it down and fixes it first.
List of might-be problems for the dev:
-bones for the characters don't work with the animations
-character bones don't match the original characters bones
-error in the upload (try re-uploading)
-patches might have broken the mod
-does not work on steam.
-not compatible with different systems.
Guys found something out. i tried letting it load and it started working. it will take 15 mins to load, more maybe. its because of ut3 shaders processing. Try waiting!
p.s do not try to configure the mods. longer waiting time i guess.
IT WORKS NICE but online on servers it have hard time and many bug is hard to fix it((
Crashes my game every time I try to update my characters,look at weapons or start a game. Probably gonna have to go track down ALL my mods and such for when I have to reinstall.
Ignore this bugfest and wait until (if) they release a version that actually works.
